Jim Nomarhas has spina bifida but this hasn’t stopped him from representing Australia in pistol shooting. Jim’s stool needed a serious upgrade to provide improved comfort and postural stability while shooting. The project included a new top plate to take the detachable seat, and a removable, height adjustable footrest together with its associated brackets. The cushion and footrest are detachable to ensure they don’t get damaged in transit. The stool goes with the luggage. The mods are proving successful. Jim won Bronze in the Sport Pistol category at the Pan Pacific Games and participated in the Sydney 2000 Paralympics.
