Taking children, particularly those with severe disabilities, through the process of developing leg muscles and balance to stand requires not only patience and time on the part of the carer, but also suitable equipment.  This piece of equipment was designed by the Spastic Centre of NSW and made by TADACT.  The standing board has several features including padded head and backboards, padded head supports and chest and knee straps.  As well as the folding foot support, the angle of the board is adjustable from a low angle to upright.
