The solution involves a lap support for the unit to keep it stable and at the appropriate angle. the support also features a small container to hold the mouth pointer while the user takes a break. | ||
Sometime people are only able to use a computer using voice operated software. Locating the microphone correctly in front of the face is the challenge. Initially, a microphone on a breast plate suspended around Peter’s neck was considered but that idea was quickly scrapped. This solution, while looking a little futuristic, has been fully functional. One of the criteria was for the unit to be as light as possible. This was achieved by cutting away the sides of the helmet until the desired lightness, was achieved.
