A bequest is a legacy left, made out to TADACT and the wider community through your will.

Bequests can be made through via a donation, property ownership, or all or a percentage of your remaining estate.

Example of text required to leave a legacy:

"I.................................... give and bequeath unto Technical Aid to the Disabled (ACT) Incorporated, 27 Mulley Street, Holder, ACT 2611: The sum of $........................ (cash) and/or .........% of my total estate (% of estate) and/or the residue of my estate (residue) and/or (specific description of property, shares, furniture, works of art etc), (personal property) and/or Life Insurance Policy No. ..................... in (Company Name), (insurance policy) free of all duties, and a receipt of the Secretary or other authorised officer shall be a complete and sufficient discharge for the executor(s)".
